Swedish Massage can be a soft, slow and gentle, or vigorous, deep and bracing, the particular type dependent upon the customer’s preference.  Both types will relieve muscle spasm and general tensions.

Remedial and Sports Massage involves deep tissue work, such as is required in many painful conditions and by athletes who want to enhance their performance. The client will be assessed for range of movement in the affected joints and then treated accordingly using a variety of techniques including myofascial release and neuromuscular technique.

You do not need to be an athlete to benefit from this type of treatment, as it has a range of benefits, including treatment of repetitive strain injuries and muscle spasm. For the athlete, both amateur and professional, it is a valuable part of any training regime, reducing the likelihood of injury and improving recovery time after training.
